Jennifer Fernández, PhD

Dr. Jennifer Fernández (PSY 26573) specializes in addiction treatment, including compulsive sexual and stealing behaviors as well as substance use disorders. She received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and has trained under experts in the field of addiction treatment at the Harm Reduction Therapy Center and Pathways Institute for Impulse Control in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Fernández is not accepting new patients but is available for consultation, evaluations, and trainings. Consultations are offered to people who want to learn more about harm reduction psychotherapy and their options for addiction treatment.  She also consults with family members who want to learn about addiction, the change process, and how they can be supportive to people with addiction.

Professional consultation is available for clinicians who are interested in learning more about harm reduction psychotherapy or the treatment of impulse control disorders such as compulsive sexual behaviors and compulsive stealing.

She provides disability, immigration, and forensic evaluations. Professional trainings are offered to agencies wanting to train their staff on the application of harm reduction psychotherapy, institutions that want to promote evidence-based drug education, and employers interested in supporting their staff with the responsible use of alcohol.

Lisa De La Rue, PhD

Lisa De La Rue, Registered Psychological Assistant (#94026472), provides harm reduction psychotherapy to individuals and families who are affected by addiction. She also provides reentry support. She received a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

She has received training and supervision from experts in trauma responsive care, and harm reduction, and has significant experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Lisa utilizes a liberation psychology lens, and strives to help people connect to their cultural unconsciousness as a source of power, healing, and liberation. She has a special interest in supporting women from diverse backgrounds, and individuals and families who may be navigating reentry needs. She is supervised by Jennifer Fernández, PhD (PSY 26573).

Rebecca Willey, ACSW

Rebecca Willey (ACSW #118660) provides trauma-informed harm reduction psychotherapy to individuals and families navigating substance use challenges, offering services in both English and Spanish. As an openly queer therapist, Rebecca creates an affirming, non-judgmental space for people from diverse communities, including people who identify as LGBTQIA+, polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous, and kinky. She is committed to addressing power, privilege, and intersectionality, believing that relational healing is fundamental to lasting social change.

Rebecca holds a Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently accruing hours toward clinical licensure. She trained with experts at the Harm Reduction Therapy Center in San Francisco, providing street-based services and partnering with community organizations to offer culturally responsive care.

In addition to psychotherapy, Rebecca offers psychodiagnostic testing, as well as evaluations for substance use, immigration, disability, and forensic assessments. She is also available for consultations with individuals and families seeking guidance on mental health and addiction, helping them explore treatment options and better understand harm reduction approaches. She is supervised by Jennifer Fernández, PhD (PSY 26573).
